Are you ready to run the city in one of the biggest running events in the North East?
The first Sunderland City 10K was held in 2011 with just over 1,500 taking part. Now one of the North’s biggest running events, we welcomed over 5,000 participants to the city streets this year, for a two-day event including Saturday’s 5K race and Sunday’s 10K, Half Marathon and the Active Sunderland BIG 3K.
The routes are fast and the atmosphere is electric, encouraging both experienced runners and first-timers to run fast and have fun! No wonder so many people come back year after year! We’ll see you on the start line in 2027.
