Take on the historic streets of Durham for a midsummer evening of running in the Durham City 5K or 10K
Thursday Evening – 5K and 10K races around the city’s historic landmarks
Saturday – Families on Track – family team relay event at Durham Racecourse
Two races and one unforgettable finish! The World Heritage Site provides the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chases through the narrow cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear, with the imposing 900 year old Cathedral welcoming you into the finish. There can hardly be a more spectacular setting for a Summer Night of racing and fun. Tell me more, tell me more!
The 5k and 10k races will take place on Thursday evening. Whichever you elect for, you will finish at the spectacular Palace Green. With a little luck you may have produced your own historical performance to match the surrounding splendour!
