Organisers of the Northumbrian and the Altra Kielder Marathon have announced details of a new partnership that will support those who take part in each event later this year. North East specialist firm Team Cycles will provide support for all bike needs, from cycle hire to mechanical assistance, and will provide the event team with e-bikes that will kelp them get around the course and manage all of the races effectively.
The Northumbrian is only six weeks away and will be held on Sunday 29 June. The event includes full Iron and half Iron triathlons, along with trail runs. This year’s Kielder Marathon weekend will take place on 4 and 5 October and alongside a variety of runs, also features a gravel duathlon race (run-bike-run) for individuals and teams. Both events are based at Kielder Waterside in Northumberland National Park and organised by Events of the North, in partnership with Northumbrian Water and Forestry England.

The company will also let the Events of the North team have four electric bikes to use at the event, making a valuable contribution to event logistics at a venue that has a very large footprint.
